In the FIQ Congress held in Hong Kong on September 13, 2011, the FIQ Congress decided with 174 votes out of 181 to accept the Joint Proposal from WTBA and WNBA for FIQ Re-organization. Following the acceptance of the Re-organization, the voting for the position of the President of FIQ and Vice-President of FIQ would be in accordance to the Statutes art. 6.2. The candidates for President and Vice-President of FIQ would be the President of WTBA and WNBA respectively.

The Congress elected Mr. Kevin Dornberger as President of FIQ. Mr. Ludwig Kocsis was subsequently the Vice President of FIQ. They took office with immediate effect.

Presentation of FIQ Pins

Newly elected President Kevin Dornberger presented the FIQ Silver Pin to Mr. Abdul Salam Abbas, President of Qatar Bowling Federation for his outstanding services and the FIQ Diamond Gold Pin to H.E. Sheikh Ahmad Al- Fahad Al-Sabah, President of the Olympic Council of Asia for his support to the sport of Tenpin Bowling. It was accepted by the General Secretary of Kuwait Bowling Federationon his behalf.
