FIQ CONGRESS 2009

The FIQ Congress shall take place on the 4th of August 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. It will be immediately following the Women’s World Championships at the USBC Open Championships Lanes at Cashman Center, (for more information please see the web site, http://www.2009wwc.com). The Congress shall take place at the Sunset Station Hotel and Casino about 15 minutes from the airport.

It is important to note that if members have any proposals for the Congress, such proposals must be sent to the FIQ President, Jessie Phua (fiq@singaporebowling.org.sg), at the latest three months prior to the meeting, that is to say on the 4th of May. The FIQ Presidium will then send to all members the proposals together with the Agenda of the Congress two months before the meeting, that is to say, on the 4th of June, 2009.

Visa information

Entry visas are required for some countries and the entry forms are not valid as visas. This is a current list of countries that participate in the Visa Waiver Program and will not need a visa if staying less than 90 days. However, all countries should confirm this information independently.

Visa applicants are advised to apply for a U.S. visa at least 3 to 4 months in advance.
